Dr. Dwight Dishmon
Dr. Dwight Dishmon is an interventional cardiologist at Metropolitan Cardiovascular Institute located at 1975 Nonconnah Boulevard in Memphis, TN. He was previously employed at The University of Tennessee and Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare from 2009 to 2021.
He was the first physician in the country to use the Avinger Pantheris ™ device, a new technology used to provide relief for the treatment of peripheral artery disease which allows him to see inside a vessel during a procedure. This is one of several new technologies that Dr. Dishmon has tried to make sure that his patients get the most innovative non-surgical techniques available in the industry.
Dr. Dishmon was born and raised in Indianola, MS. He received his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Bacteriology from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and his doctorate of medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis. He did his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowships at
UTHSC and his interventional cardiology fellowship at Borgess Medical Center at Michigan State University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He has been board certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Dishmon receives daily inspiration from his children. He enjoys attending Memphis Grizzlies games, golf, traveling, cooking and dining out.

Dr. Jayna Kelly
Dr. Jayna M. Kelly is an Interventional Cardiologist at the Metropolitan Cardiovascular Institute in Memphis, Tennessee. After completing her training at the University of Vermont in 2023 and the Ochsner network in New Orleans, she returned to Memphis to specialize in Interventional Cardiology.
Inspired by her mother’s battle with breast cancer and the compassionate care her family received, Dr. Kelly committed her life to helping others achieve better health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), a Master of Science from Indiana University, and a medical degree from the University of Tennessee, where she served as class vice president and actively contributed to the local community.
An advocate for fitness, Dr. Kelly co-founded the running group Sisters in Motion and has completed over 10 half marathons and a full marathon. She is passionate about educating and empowering African American women to proactively prevent heart disease and is available to speak on topics such as heart health, women in medicine, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Kelly is married to Justin Pearson, and together they have a son, Carter, and two dogs, Miles Davis and Bass Reeves.

Kajuandria Beasley-Williams
Kajuandria Beasley-Williams, a native of Greenville, Mississippi, brings over 15 years of nursing experience and a deep commitment to patient care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Delta State University and her master’s degree in nursing from Walden University. For the past nine years, she has served as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner across Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
With a strong foundation in community health, Kajuandria spent five years providing essential care to underserved populations before specializing in cardiology for the last four years. Her passion for healthcare extends beyond treatment—she sees it as a calling shaped by her upbringing. Focused on patient education and preventative care, she strives to bridge health disparities and improve cardiovascular outcomes for those who need it most.
